Notre Dame is an independent, Catholic, co-educational high school open to students of all faiths. With more than 300 students from grades 9-12, Notre Dame has representation from all Canadian provinces and territories, the U.S.A. and thirteen other countries across the world. Notre Dame challenges students to develop in three key areas: mind, body, and spirit. Academically, Notre Dame offers a challenging and rigorous curriculum. The average class size is kept at 16 to ensure students receive one-on-one faculty assistance and personalized attention. Notre Dame boasts a 100% graduation rate and 80% of students are currently on the Honour Roll. Notre Dame also has 100% participation in co-curricular activities and is internationally recognized for producing elite athletes, particularly in hockey, but competes in over 14 different competitive sports. Notre Dame is a trendsetter becoming one of the very first high schools in Canada to offer a dedicated Esports program. Over 215 alumni have been drafted and or playing / coaching in the NHL – with thousands more continuing to play hockey competitively following high school. Notre Dame has a vibrant spiritual program, including mandatory Christian Ethic’s teachings, Works for Mercy Outreach, Hounds for Humanity, daily prayer and reflection, and regular school mass.
