The Evangelical Church Alliance International (ECAI or ECA), founded in 1887, is an interdenominational, nonsectarian alliance of ministers serving throughout the world. Members include pastors, teachers, theologians, authors, church executives, seminary faculty and administrators, missionaries, evangelists, speakers, and military, law-enforcement, hospital, sports and workplace chaplains. The ECA offers credentials for ordination and licensure, endorsement for military chaplaincy, a comprehensive theological-studies curriculum through its Bible Extension Institute (BEI), and associate membership for churches and non-profit Christian organizations.
