Volunteer opportunities: MMS Aviation is an all volunteer organization supported through faith giving.

Member of the International Association of Missionary Aviation.

Accredited by ECFA.

Year founded: 1975

Activity: MMS Aviation prepares people and planes for worldwide missionary service. Through a 30-month aviation maintenance apprenticeship, men and women are qualified to take FAA exams which certify them as Airframe & Powerplant mechanics. Once certified, MMS graduates serve with the missionary aviation program of their choice. This is a hands-on program where the hangar is the classroom and missionary airplanes are the curriculum. MMS seeks spiritually and emotionally mature candidates having mechanical aptitude.
